durable pole???

Question:I'm interested in buying one of these poles but I'm not very sure about them. I haven't found that much information on them besides different sites to buy them on. What makes X pole or the Little Mynx so much more expensive then the My Sexy Little Pole or Pole Fit?
ALSO: What is the average width of a standard stripper pole?

Average width is enough to wrap my hand around it.

I think it's 2", but haven't been on one for a while. Never thought about it. :)

You could technically get away with a polished or powdercoated stainless steel pipe from a plumbing supply store. The challenge is mounting these things so they do not flex much. For more fun, practice in a public park. ;-) I know I did, a few times...

The quality of mounts, connections, and fittings is probably why you have such a price difference. You need to account for rotational kinetic energy requirement and not just your weight. The last thing you want is for the thing to shift as you are extended to the side.

I haven't had personal experience with these products. I'd say search for "product name" "problem" or "design defect" and see what you can find.

One last thing. If you are not careful, you'll bruise your palms. You may want to get high-grip gloves.
