Question:give me ideas, i'm going to start dancing soon, and i want to start out easy, such as being flexablibe, because i'm not so good with that!

touch your toes
practice ur splits at least 2 times a day even moree!
trust me even if u cant go downn far it doesnt matter
as long as u try!
and practicee
ur splits will get better!

oh we can talk for hours about stretching! lol! Easy stretches would be standing up and touching your toes with your feet together. Then spreading your legs and touching the floor. And the same thing just going to one leg then the other. Splits are perfect for leaps. If your not very flexable now your prolly can't do them yet but if you try everyday it'll get better and easier... Anythin that stretches your back, arms, legs.. works. If you take lessons they'll show you many many stretches

First of all, stretch A LOT everyday, if you watch TV during the day/evening, sit on the floor in a straddle position. You can lean towards the middle and you will feel a great stretch. Also lean to each side, bringing your chest to each leg.
Those stretches are great for dance.

Sit down with your legs straight in front of you, and reach for your toes, trying to bring your chest to your legs.

You might want to do back stretches, like the girl above suggested.

start with simple stuff like the butterfly. Gradually move on to things like the splits after a few weeks.
