Woot another Bgirl! Baby Freeze is one of the most known and basic freezes in bboying. Some people find it hard to do while other have it easy. In bboying, there are no tricks and shortcuts, only practice, so for you to get this move right just keep practicing. Follow the instruction they give you and keep trying. The freeze needs balance and strength, which you will build up the more you practice it.
The important things to make sure you get right:
The stabbing, which is putting either your left or right elbow into your side, below the ribs and between the abdomen and kidney. Try to make it comfortable and make sure it sticks.
Make sure you head is comfortable also. If it hurts a little bit on hard floor, wear a beanie. Also make sure you're using your other arm that isn't stabbing, to secure yourself on the floor. Once you get the baby freeze right, you'll be able to work yourself to more advanced stuff.
Good luck and remember to practice!

Edit:
As the person below me says, bboy.org is great. If you post up videos they can give you good and positive feedback. The users are very nice

I can't people on tv can

Not me.

my 10yr son can do it just keep practice and you will get it

You can/could try going to GOOGLE to get a special teacher and training... Google.com...
sry...
thats what i'd do, other then that your on your own.

god you have to be fit to do that ,,, you keep the good work up ,

umm i cant do that it looks really hard but i bet if u keep trying you will have it down and it will b really easy 4 u so keep trying

BOY YOU SHOULD COME "POTZ" HERE IN N.Y.C. WE'LL SCHOOL YOU.

omg it is the hardest move ive tryed so many times i just could belive it.

have people hold your legs until you feel stable..find your center of balance. or try doing it against the wall and lightly push off the wall and findyour center of balance..if you fall over you can just start from the wall again and push off. good luck!

exactly..... how CAN you do that????!lol

thats so easy balance all ur wait on ur hands and push the floor away from you

try to take it 1 step at a time and if u mess up try starting from the first step again

sorry not me

i am NO dancer... but have studied physics... and Sweet is right, its all about balance. Watch where the elbows are and the center of gravity. If your elbows are 'out', your feet will fall down.

I can do that... But aint gonna tell you..

Coz i can only do it in my dreams!!! :~P

nope i cant.. lol

put all your weight in your upper body. :) the hands doesnt necessarily need to be positioned that way, find a position where you can comfortably lean your upper body to...it's all about weight transfer and balance =)

looks like he is imagining the girl under him has std's

i kinda of can

u need extremely good upper body strength

omg a kid in my gym class does this all the time! okay what you have to do is to strengthin your arms ALOTT, practice improving your balance, and do some crunches to get a strong core.

once all of this is done go for it.. remember its not all in your arms like in the picture the guy is resting his head on the floor with alot of weight on it so its not all in your arms. You have to also put your arms under your stomach(if your strong enough you only need one arm under your stomach as the guy in the picture) and rest some of your body weight on them and the rest of your weight on your head. At first dont try and do the cool leg positions just try adn keep your legs straight out.. after you practice, are VERYY balanced and strong enough, then you can try moving your legs in different positions. Remember.. this is going to take a LONGGG time to accopmplish but if you practice enough you'll eventually get it =]

hope i helped!!

Well this move was the first move I learned. This freeze is hard to explain through text. It is a video showing step by step to do a baby freeze.

So go to this link:
http://youtube.com/watch?v=knJIpeoDfE8

i'd check out http://www.bboy.org/forums they have a really good guide for it in their move guide section. that site is where i have learned just about every breaking move i know, including the baby freeze. i'll give you a quick explanation (this is for right handed people. switch lefts and rights if you are left handed):
first kneel on the ground. know put your right hand on the ground to your right, right next to your feet, fingers facing back. put your left hand to your right, right next to your knees, fingers facing right. now here comes the hard part. bend your right arm a little bit and then lean to your right so that your stomach is resting on your right elbow. now bend your left arm a little bit. try to get your knees slightly resting on your arm above your elbows. know your just gonna fall to the right and land with the right side of your head/face on the ground, your stomach resting on your right elbow and your knees on your left elbow. there are many things to do with your legs, just experiment with different positions and see what works for you. for a better explanation and a video check out the website i told you about. good luck!
