My school dance is in a few weeks...HELP!?

Question:I know I'm going but the thing is...it's a black-out dance. I'm not really sure what it is, all I know is that you have to wear a white t-shirt. Also, I want to ask my best guy friend to the dance with me because frankly, I'm obsessed with him...and I'm starting to like him as more than a friend. He MIGHT say yes only because he's my friend, but I want him to see me as MORE than a friend at the dance! Also, if I do have to wear a white t-shirt, I don't think it would be attractive if I'm going to dance with my best guy friend! Please help me understand all this.... </3

okay. im on my high school's dance committee, meaning we plan all the dances. a black out dance is when everyone wears white because the room/gym/multi purpose room is only lit by black lighting. [[which is the violet colored lights that make white clothes glow.]] its really fun! and take the other answerer's advice for those cute white tops. dance no different than you would a regular dance. if your completely all over him, he might get a little annoyed. just have fun, because if you're trying too hard, he'll notice.

I'm not sure what a black out dance is, but if you think you would look bad in the white tops you have, go shopping, cheap shops like primark have really nice stuff, or if you willing to spend a lot, then jane norman (my faverouite). Sounds like you and this guy have been mates for a long time ! If the dance isn't till a long time, then try dropping a few hints on him and impressing him before, see if he might ask you ?

If they want a white shirt, then it probably means they're using blacklights. Get a really nice white shirt;
