Did you go en pointe at grade six RAD?

We used to go on pointe in the class everyweek just for 15 minutes or so and do free work. I guess it was just because all pointe work helps strengthen feet and stuff so it was just a way of getting more in! plus free work is more fun than syllubus work!

i missed out grade 6 because we did major exams and grade 7, but now we're doing grade 8, every so often we do the whole class en pointe because it builds up the strength in your feet, and gives you great practice for when doing advanced 1.

At my studio, we only go up to Grade V and then to Intermediate Foundation, but we used to have a 15 minute pointe lesson at the end of Int. Fnd. for girls who just started out (even though there's an Intermediate Foundation pointe class).

We don't do the higher grades at our studio,

We do Pre primary, primary, 1-5 then Intermediate foundation - intermediated - advanced foundation - adv1 adv2

Our students start pointe usually in intermediate foudation, some are after they do the grade 5 exam.
