Question:Like a lot of celebrities have amazing bodies because they dance all the time. But what kind of dance? Nothing weird or dumb like ballet or those classical dances. Something cool? Please any reccomendations, I am 15 white 5'2 very athletic and in great shape/

Your 15 & this might sound inappropriate but the stars & many workout experts have done numerous shows saying they do pole dancing. They buy one for their home (some r really cheap). It is an intensive all body dance & workout. They use pilates and then switch or do both. DDR is an easy one but your already in shape so that might not help you much. Some of the dances on Dance With The Stars sound dumb but you can make them great & they are fantastic workouts. The disadvantage is if you don't have money & need to do something independantly, then that won't help. The pole & pilates can be done at home for little money in a small space, even if it's the garage, so it's affordable & easy to keep up on.

I like latin dances like the salsa and the samba. You get a good work out from them.

DDR is a lot of fun, but just put on some party music like the Cupid Shuffle, Cha Cha slide, Electric Slide, and Soulja Boy- the important thing is that you're moving around and having fun. You can get videos for all of these dances on youtube!

I love belly dancing. It's fun and it really works your abs, thighs and buttocks. It's popular in my area right now, so there are lots of classes available

ii would reccomend a dance mat because not only do they keep you fit its addictive and you will loose more weight by going on it and trying to beat your previous score!

Jazz is very good. It's stretching in the beggining, and then you start having fun with twists and turns, leaps, and all sorts of fun. It's great for working out.

Ballet is the ESSENCE of cool. But since your not into that, I suggest belly dancing, hip hop, head banging (sounds odd, but it can really give your legs a great workout and will tone your tummy), and least but not least, jazz.

im not givin u any recommendations, how can u call ballet wierd n dumb, uve probably never done it! nd if ur in great shape, y r u askin for somethin 2 do 2 get in2 great shape? no one can be in a better shape than a ballet dancer.............so waaaayyyyy! who says ballet isnt cool? ur obviously not!

Belly dance is amazing if you want something you can do yourself. It's gentle on the joints and it can be as rigorous or easy as you make it, which means that it's something you can continue for a long time once ye learn.

I started ballroom at college. It sounds like it's for old people, but it's lots of fun. There are several different styles of swing that are extremely aerobic and salsa is pretty good too. If you have contra dancing in your area, check it out! I've never had a better workout.
