well i don't know too much about gymnastics but i believe a front walkover is when you go from standing to handstand to bridge to standing again and a back walkover is when you go from standing to bridge to handstand and then back to standing. i just want you to know what i'm talking about so if i'm thinking of something other than a front walkover, you know that ahead of time =) anyways, for a front walkover you need to know how to do handstands and bridges first. if you don't know those then you should find a way to learn them and if you do know them then practice them a lot to get really good at them. you need to have really good control of your handstands and really arched bridges. to help you with this, always look at your hands in either of these moves. with bridges, the closer your feet are to your hands, the more arched your back is but they're also hard to control this way so do a little give and take. after you've got those down, practice getting from bridges to standing. you need stong leg muscles for this. use your arms to push yourself for as long as you can and also push your chest forward as you're getting up. this should supply you with the momentum you need to get all the way up without falling back down. it also helps me to have at least one of my arms reaching up forward but i'm not really sure why, it just seems to help. now you'll also wanna practice getting from a handstand into a bridge. to do this just slowly fall in the direction that you would if you were to land on your back but arch your back so that your feet hit the ground first. you need to do this as slow as possible, which means you need good control of your handstands. practice this until you get it perfect because it's hard to not cave in after landing in the bridge position. now just combine these two things and you can do a front walkover. good luck, it'll probably take a while to learn depending on how much you already know how to do.

You have to arch a LOT, thats the key. Then you have to stick your head out and always look at your hands. That will help you from falling, your hands will guide you.

If you are landing in a backbend, you are doing a "limber", which is a similar move. In order to do the "walkover" you MUST do the following:

Use your right foot (if your are left handed, reverse this) as your first step to rotate your body up onto your hands and force your left leg into a split to force your body down into an arch and stand up again. Your right leg will follow your left and you'll "walkover" into a standing position.

i know this isn'nt gonna help, but how is this supposed to b dance???
