for my 6-8 year old hip hop classes, i have used:
temperature - sean paul
break it off - sean paul and rihanna
the way i are - timbaland
hey ya - outkast
men in black theme song - will smith
do it well - jennifer lopez
last night - pdiddy.

for my 9-12 year old girls ive used some of the same songs but ive also used
get it shawty - lloyd
react - erick sermon
lip gloss - lil mama
my love - justin timberlake
that's right - ciara.

i used to use kind of like, kiddy songs i guess but i have found that they like using songs that are fun and that you hear on the radio too. i havent had any complaints from parents, so i think ur safe, but unless the song sounds scary or too ghetto they dont listen to the words, they just watch the kids dance. i just make sure i get the clean version of every song so then i dont have to deal with it. there's a few high school musical songs you could use, there's one about a basketball or something, but like i said my hip hop girls like it best when i use real hip hop songs. i would say any song by will smith is a good bet. good luck and congrats on ur job! ur going to love it!

Try the step up and honey sound tracks

Hey and congrats on your new job!! Um i take hip-hop dance and i think the best song for little girls will be like Ciara's 1-2 Step...or a nice new fun one is Wind it Up by Kat DeLuna
I Hope this will help out alot!!!!

congrats! try songs by disney channel people! like Raven Simone has a song 'friends' that's cool, but I can't find it online, sorry! Otherwise you could use http://www.playlist.com/musicsearch?sear... <-- the second song, but you'd have to cut out the guys part.

or push it to the limit by corbun bleu !

^third song.

good luck! I'm sure you'll do great.

Congradulations I hope this is a great experience for you!
Maybe you should search through the songs on that kids CD called kidz BOP. Alot of characters from disney channel sing on that CD as well as other people and its a kids CD so I think it would suit the age given.
