Comlicated question about a dance! HELP!?

Question:So here is the story.

My semi formal dance at school is coming up and of course I want to take my boyfriend to the dance with me. He isn't friends with my friends really and doesnt really know anybody at my school. Also, we have never danced together yet, and I have never grinded before so I'm really nervous. Usually me and my friends just dance with each other but now I have a boyfriend to worry about and I will feel really bad if ditch him, but the dance is 3 hours and I don't really wanna dance with him the whole time?! I need help because I am so nervous and I don't know why and I just need advice!

well i hasd that same problem i was nervous dancing wit my bf and my cousin told to relax and ask him if u could dance with ur friends for a while and maybe u won't be that nervous just advice that helped me hope u enjoy ur dance also when u dance with him don't about if ur gonna make a mistake or anything just take it calm

I'd say dont risk it w/the bf. Better to know w/ur friends who do know how to dance. If u still wanna take him tell him to show up maybe an hour before the dance is over. That way u get to spend time w/ur friends at the dance and w/him too, just later on.
