Dance success stories? kids who started late and still made it.?

Question:Hey, I'm just looking around for dance success stories- about people who started late, and still managed to make it as dance role models for this generation, or as teachers, etc... Any stories, even of your own friends are cherished. I love looking at real life stories as an inspiration- before I embark on my own journey. Thanks so much, and HAPPY NEW YEAR in advance guys! : )

this probably doesn't answer the whole of your questions, but i know a girl who went to my dance school, and then went to dance school. but she broke her back when she was about 19. it shocked everyone when a few years later she had started walking, and still became a professional ballerina. sounds like a miracle if you ask me, but its compltely true. x

did you watch So You Think You Can Dance last season. the girl who won, Sabra, had only been dancing for 4 years! i know wild!

im now 13 and i started dance when i was 8, very late compared to all of the others at my dance school, i have still managed to get to the top of my class, and won heaps!

and also look at sabra from so you think you can dance, she has only been dancing for 3 years and look where she is!

when my mom was growing up she hd really bad feet and legs so my grandmother put her in dance lessons--my mom went to college and majored in dance and owned her own dance school and now teaches

Audrey Hepburn started dancing (ballet) quite late- she was 10 when she started learning at her school, but 16 when she was trained professionally.
She was to tall to become a prima ballerina, but she was still very good, and prefered dancing to acting.
