I think you did better on the second video of not jumping out on your echappes. You did jump a little it looked like on your final su su, but it looks way better.

I know you said you had a thera- band thing- I do too- and you should probably just keep working with that to keep your feet strong!

good luck! I bet u r exited!

  • You have really nice feet and turnout, good arches, good muscles too.

What I would suggest is just to keep on doing rises and eschappes (sp?). Because that's what you first start doing when you go on Pointe.

Purchase a thera band if you haven't already. They are excellent for strengthening the feet.

Before you get your shoes make sure that you cut your toenails too. And really sew on those elastics and ribbons tight! In my first lesson they all fell off because I did them myself lol ;)

    Good Luck in Pointe!

It's great that you're excited for pointe! It's hard work but very rewarding. Make sure you have good toe pads (I suggest ouch pouches!) , and that you get fitted pointe shoes! Don't just order them.

You've got great arches! Wow! Like Rach said, cut your toenails! Definitely.

When you're doing pointe, make sure you pull out of your arches. It's like an arm extension, only your whole body is extending!

Good luck in pointe! You definitely seem ready.
