Question:I practice Ballet and i want to practice artistic gymnastics 2 times a week but i see that most of the them have big muscles how do i avoid building those muscles when practicing artistic gymnastics?

A lot of that depends on your gender. Most women/girls wont get bulky muscles, since we dont have the same hormones as men that help develop huge muscles.

If you saw women with these big muscles, then it might just be their body type. If you think you may have a very muscular body then just be sure to keep your muscles stretched out while your building them. The stretching will benefit the gymnastics and ballet, and help to keep your muscles toned and lean.

I don't think you can be good at any kind of gymnastics without building muscle first...If you don't want to build muscle, don't do gymnastics.
