I think you should take your fiddle to a local music store that sell instruments and they well very kindly tune it up for you. :)

yes. its impossible to play a fiddle without tuning it. It can't be done... well, it can, but its sounds very bad. tuning it is what gives the strings unique sounds that sound good together.
