i would suggest trying them on and seeing how they feel. the plie' II by capezio is another great shoe, as well as the bloch european balance, but it really depends on the shape of your foot. i wouldn't go into this thinking thats the shoe you want, so thats the shoe your going to get, but just try some things on and see what feels the best. the most frequent comment i hear about the glisse' that is negative is that the box sometimes squishes your big toe a bit, because they run pretty narrow.

ugh, capezio, capezio, capezio...haha i have to admit, they served me well when i used them...but they are near impossible to break in easily...not unless your like a hardcore dancer lol. the way the shank is built its just retarded, when it's not broken in when you go on pointe theres a diagnol line across the arch a little bit....if you really focus on breaking them in tho they aren't bad but grishkos are honestly better, the box is easier. but i guess you could try them, becaues they might work for you. especially if you have a strong arch.

If you just need shoes for a recital that don't last long, I would suggest the capezio contemporera(sp?). They work really well for a go-to shoe for a recital. I would say stick to your Leo's for regular class, and maybe try a Grishko. Hope this helped!

I know a lot of dancers use Capezio Glisse because their cheaper, but I honestly think if it's for a recital, and maybe even more...then Gaynor Mindens or Freed of london are a way better choice, their comfortable, and also very beautiful. They last long too. :) I think you should choose them.
