Men wearing tights for ballet?

Question:What do women think when they see male ballet dancers wearing tights? Do they look good? Are tights acceptable for men outside of ballet/dance situations?

There are lots of situations where men wear tights outside of ballet - and its not for looks so who cares what it looks like.

I'm an everyday cyclist and I wear tights a lot and most women really like it when I do, but thats not why I wear them.

I don't care at all if some people think its 'gay', that reflects more on them than it does on me.

I understand Joe Namath used to wear pantyhose. I don't know if the trend caught on with other football players. Also it's been said that Australian lifeguards wear pantyhose to protect themselves from jellyfish.

I love ballet. I think they look good for ballet. not for everyday wear...

no!! i dont like men in tights. ughhhh. they dont look good..even with a big kahoona. & no, they aren't acceptable for men outside ballet/dance situations.

This is what I think, immediatly:

It's NOT attractive in the least, no matter how hot the guy is.
Unleeesss, you know the guy personally, and he's hot.
Then it would be attractive.

I dont watch the men's tights when they are dancing, I am more looking at the talent and work needed to be able to perform like that. Outside of dance, yeah NOT COOL.

well somepeople do look good in tights and some don't well i think mens are gay when they wear tights

sorry but the only time im ok with a guy wearing tights is when they are in a dancing setting..otherwise its kinda weirdd...

some guys are seriously hot in tights...others are scary. and no, men shouldn't wear tights, say, to the grocery store. icky.

Tights on men in ballet class is normal and required. Outside of class it is just weird.
