Kids Tap Shoes?

Question:I live on the NSW Central Coast and am after a dance shop that sells kids size 7 / 8 tap shoes at a reasonable price.......Any ideas? Thanks

Never buy dance shoes off ebay.

Tap shoes are pretty much all the same cost, around $60 Australian for a shoe that looks like this: http://www.bloch.com.au/shop/images/PROD...

The brand is Bloch and they make a really nice shoe that will last forever! The only trouble I have had with them was the strap coming off because I had them for a year, but that can easily be fixed by a bootmaker.

Another brand you may come across in the shop is Energetiks.

Energetiks and Bloch tap shoes come with 'grips' in the box. You can get them put on by your local bootmaker who will cut and glue them on. They look like this when they are put on: http://www.dance4less.com/dance_shoes/ta...

If you have the choice between Energetiks and Bloch, get Bloch. The current Energetiks tap shoe I have had for 2 years have started to lose its shape, its becoming far too wide across my foot and I have had problems with the screws falling out. Next year I will be getting a new pair of Blochs.

As for finding a dance shop-they are pretty much everywhere. But I would do it ASAP because you don't want to be waiting around for ages when another 23084223 girls are being fitted!

But local dancewear shops may also have Bloch shoes. Look in your White Pages. You will also find that a lot of Fairy Shops actually sell dance supplies.
