Very nice ankles =] You should have no problem getting on to pointe. They do look slightly weak though. Make sure you keep your heel forward and dont roll back onto your little toe. If you do that on pointe you can fall off your shoe and that hurts. Don't jump to your positions either. Echappes are more of a slide and in your sou sous make sure you roll through your entire foot.

Simple mistakes become a big deal on pointe. But your ankles are fantastic and I wish you the best of luck =]

hey, youre better than me! i've been on pointe for almost a year (with summer break) and i still can't get all the way up, thanks to my lousy arches and stiff ankles. you should do just fine, you have good feet ( it think) just remember to do pointe through your big toe and to keep your heels forward. Stay strong! good luck :)

thats ok it would be alot better if you were to go on hard wood floor and not be in socks but thats ok
i would say that you are ok to go on pointe but don't listen to me cuz i am emo and i am fat

I used to do pointe and the one thing they always told us was ... stretch

Get a pair of hose or tights and put the foot end in your left hand and the waist in your right and put your foot in the middle. Then point your foot and write your ABC's in the air.

Then get a small hand towel and put a can of tomato paste or something like that. Put the can at one end of the towel and stand on the other end. curl your toes under making the towel bunch up at your toes. Keep going till you have moved the can all the way to you.
