Position:Home>Dancing> Do all dance schools offer pointe classes?

Question:I just started ballet classes at a diffrent dance school this year. I have 7 years previous experiance, and I am turning 13 this month. I am ready to start pointe because I have strong legs and anckles, and great turn-out. I have never seen anybody at my new dance school on pointe before. Should I ask my teacher about pointe classes? What is they don't, should I switch schools so I can do pointe?

Yes you should ask your teacher about pointe classes. You should switch schools if they don't have pointe but remember, some schools that have pointe and that accept you if you are new, they put you in a lower class be ause they don't know how good you are in ballet. If you set up an appointment to show them what you know, then maybe you'll be put en pointe.
You should ask the teacher and find out other options (school) that best suit your need.

Good Luck! :)
Yea, i think you should just ask your teacher. If they dont, you can still go to that dance school. Maybe you should just look for some private pointe lessons.
