NO WAY! is it too late for u to start.
there are girls in my class just starting at 14
and some who started when they were 3.
i advise you to start ballet because you can get
the basics in ballet for anytype of dance.
some studios let you do a free trial class...
try different classes and see which one you like best
and even if its extremely hard dont give up. if the other people in the class are having fun than you probly will to soon.
ps---u could surprise urself and be really good...ive seen it happen!
GOOD LUCK!
yes there is many schools out there...and you can begin at any age even at my "older age" at 45
It's not too late to start dancing..As far as what type you should take...That's your choice..Watch a variety of dancers and decide which type would be fun to learn...gl
skill competency, talents and experience has no time frame, in any span of life or in age training can be attained it does not require age, if you have a desire to learn any thing you can do this rather being a mature you can benefit the envirnment in more substantial and agreesive way, it would be because of your maturity. whatever the amount you do spent on your dance classes you will give more attention and in a give time frame you can complete the given course. so do this, go ahead if you want to join dance class, do it.
It's never too late to start dancing! I started at an age of 14 at a beginner class for teens at it worked for me!

So go on with it and dance, dear :)

P.s I prefer ballet, but it's very personal!
1: It's never too late to start something new so pick one you think will resemble you. 2: I like dancing to everything but the best is jazz because of the rhythm and speed. you as 14 might like more hip hop but to me when I was 10 and up I loved dancing to hip hop and still do now as much as jazz.
I have danced since I was 3 and I say that its never too late to start dancing. I'm like 13 and you kno how the latest dances like soulja boy, spongeboband dance, and jump rope are in style and the people that made that dance were NOT professionals...I kno...and they r the hottest dances so start with hip hop if not jazz or even try tap dancing. Good luck
It's never too late to start dancing, however, it is probably too late if you plan on pursuing a dance career, though there are exceptions, such as Sabra Johnson. I personally recommend Ballet. Ballet is the core and foundation of all other types of dancing. You need technique from ballet for anything else. You may want to try all different areas of dance, to see which kinds you like the best. Good luck!
NO WAY, its never too late

Try jazz, ballet, tap, hip hop, but most important ballet
Its never to late you might have to start at a lower level but you can move ^ and take wutever dance you think you might like
no its not late i know someone who started at 16! and you know the show So You Think You Can Dance well the WINNER sabra started to dance at 16! well good luck!
I'm 15 and have danced since I was 4 at the same upscale academy in NY. No, it's not too late! My friend just started who is also 15 and she's awesome! Make sure it's 1 on 1 in your class because you will make much more progress. I would recommend jazz and hip hop, you will get the most use out of them at school dances and people will respect you. And they're the most fun and make you look cool.
If you have talent it will be difficult but if you take extra classes and work extra hard I think you can make it. I started at 10
NO, IT IS NEVER TO LATE!!! MOST DANCE SCHOOLS HAVE CLASSES FOR PEOPLE WHO HAVE NO DANCE EXPERIENCE. THEY TEACH THE BASICS. IF YOU HAVE ANY OTHER QUESTIONS EMAIL ME KROBINSON94@GMAIL.COM HAPPY DANCING
no, its not too late, i know, many of the girls in my dance class have started dancing from when they were from 3-6. Many dance schools i know of accept dancers of any level, so I think you should atleast give dancing a go! If you do, i recommend you start of with either jazz or hip hop (Jazz isnt that slow modern music though, its actually more active music where you actually move fast). Right now, i do Jazz (Advanced Group), Tap and Ballet. I also used to do hip hop. When you try for a first year and you think you enjoy it, then you may want to start some of the other styles of dance. hope i helped.
