Question:How can i become a dancer that tours with Hannah Montana?
I think im pretty good but i dont have the support that i need.
hwo am i suppose to become a dancer?
please help me!

You need to continue taking ballet! No matter which form of dance you do ballet will help. Then also take Jazz or Modern dance. It never hurts to taking acting lessons as well. After numerous auditions and having them tell me I was "Technically an excellent dancer but I did not read well on stage, I took acting and mime lessons. I actually think the mime helped a lot! After that auditions were no problem.

So it really is a complete package you want to become as strong and technically excellent as you can as a dancer but you need to be noticed on stage and theater is the best way to do that! Ballet is always preferred as a basis for all forms of dance and then they want you to add Jazz,Modern or whatever form of dance they are looking for. If you are having finance problems, most schools have scholarships for student who show promise. Ask at the school and ask when their auditions are. In my studio I also let people work off their tuition by working the front desk and answering phones etc...

Break a Leg!

Thinking you are pretty good will not cut it. The current show Best of Both Worlds Tour cost millions to put together. They probably have hundreds of professional dancers ready to take the place of anyone who drops out.

For the future you need to put that 150% into pursuing your craft every day. When a dancer matures into a true professional everyone worth a salt who sees her knows it and they are told who to contact for the next step.

For now, just keep practicing. Use that 150% to be the best of the best now, at your dance studio or wherever you dance. Always keep up a good smile, and practice harder and harder until you are absolutely perfect. When you get there, you will be noticed and if you are good enough, you will fulfill your dreams!
