Practice in front of a mirror so you can see where you need to straighten your legs or arms. Also get a video or have copies of the correct positioning of your body while doing these moves. Blow them up and put them on the wall where you practice, it needs to be a full length mirror and wide enough with a bar set to your height while repeated exercise is being done. It is not an easy thing to take up, you have to love it to stick to it and be very disciplined about practicing your moves so they become second nature. Good luck in your endeavors I love to watch ballet, I'm not a professional just love to dance and watch competition dancing and so on.
Well for pirouettes the best thing you can do i practice spotting. You can practice in your restroom mirror.
Practice, practice practice, keep it up and work hard do sit ups and keep fit and trim so you can be flexible, Ballerinas are usually slim and stringy, so they can be lifted and look light and feathery.
plie is the key to everything in ballet. when you practice at the bar try using every single muscle possible. it'll eventually get easier and you're dancing will improve.

pirrouettes are practice practice practice. pull up high, get your posse high and spot fast.
keep on practicing-- practice practice practice!!! work on spotting for the pirouettes, and work on your turnout for plies
Really work your turnout during plies.

For pirouettes, start slow. Do quarter turns, then half turns, then 3-quarter turns. Finally, full turns. Work on spotting. Also, you want to have good balance. Balancing in retire on demi/3-quarter pointe helps with that.

And, as the others said, Practice Practice Practice!
