Tap Shoe Help!?

Question:Last night during practice the toe tap on my bloch tan showtapper tap shoes shatterd. I have only had them for 2 years. Does anyone know of a pair of really good tap shoes that are affordable??

first off if you like that shoe than get it repaired at a shoe repair shop or send them to Bloch. talk to your teacher she may suggest a better alternative

As for the shoes i have no idea what you consider affordable.
the shoes i wear that i am happy with are capezio extreme taps and run about $60. I just looked up your tap shoes specifically and saw that you wear heels. i am sorry but i do not know much about heels. but on a last note i want you to remember that yout taps itself and the shoe are 2 different things. if your shoe is worn out and you need a new pair than go ahead and just get new shoes. if you want the same shoes fosr a more affordable price check out web sites like discount dance or dancewear solutions for a quick fix but if you want an even better buy than spend time waiting for a mint pair of shoes on ebat(it really doesnt take much time i have found the exact same pair of pointe shoes i wear in the right sixe in only a few days.) if you do not need a new shoe than just get new taps. talk to your teacher about if she cand do it or if she wants you to go to a professional

Is it possible for a shoe repairer to fix them for the time being until you can find some new ones?...It mabe a short term but may get you by for the time being.

I would suggest the leos. I have had mine for 3 years and they are just fine. sometimes the taps come loose but that might partly be my fault. Any capezio tap shoe would be good also.

The split sole tap shoe is good one, Tele tone extreme is anyother. Some of the dance stores might have these shoes for less. Look at the reviews for different shoes and ask around at your dance studio.
