Embarrased to dance???

Question:i'm punjabi and i dont really dance much. wen i danced bhangra for the first time, i was good. me and sum other punjabi grls are doin a dance for the school pep rally, which is in front of the whole entire school!!! the moves are too soft and don't seem like bhangra at all to me. it's waaayyy too late to quit and get out of the dance, and i'm jus embarrased. like i act totally western, i guess the hidden talent i had was doin bhangra....because obviously i'm punjabi. like i don't knw wut all the other indians will think of me or say to me. i nevr act desi like this, and i don't wanna make a fool outta myself.

Well just be yourself and know chicks like guys that can dance and your true friends wont dis u out. I'm out of school now but when i was in school, i had to sing in Maori in front of my whole school i was so scared but with friends by my side i did and it was a great feeling.

it does'nt mean that ur punjabi so u cant do desi...... ur r selected because u dance well so dont think that u dont dance well just think no one is sitting there and dance freely just dont think that fun will be made of u because when i was just 4yrs old i did my first competition and i won....even i was nervous but i just though of my mother and danced freely and dancing freely shows the confidence in you and if you do that all will be looking at u not for ur funny dance but for the beautiful dance you will do, so never think its pretty embarrising to dance, just do it freely and confidently and you will suceed and faith in you that you can do very good ok and never think that you are a punjabi so you cant do punjesi dance(punjabi+desi)ok may my words help you so bye bye !
