Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: If you mean professionally, perhaps. I began rather "late" myself (around 12 when I started) and after several years hard work I was still behind the girls my age but not impossibly far away. Then again, I knew a professional ballerina who didn't start til she was 16. It all depends on how hard you're willing to work and how much talent you have.

But I suggest starting classes if you still really want to. Ballet is a lot of difficult work, but I found it to be very rewarding even though I didn't go the professional route.
