Does anyone know where i can learn choreography?

for lyrical dancing. i love to dance but can not think of my own dance moves. please HELP i need it.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: There are many college and universities that have degree programs in dance with classes in choreography. I have a BA in dance from Marymount Manhattan College, in NYC, and I learned some of my choreography there. This route will give you a well rounded education in dance. However, if you don't wish to pursue this direction with dance, take whatever classes in dance you can to get more knowledge in this area.
Think of choreography as a language in which the dance, or body movement, is the vocabulary. The more movements, styles or movements, and variations on those movements build your vocabulary. Then, as with the great choreographers, such as Balanchine and Fosse, they created their own vocabulary, which made them so great.
So, in summary, the more dance you know, the more you can choreograph; one builds upon the other.
