Question:

Has anyone heard of writersservices.com? I am thinking of using their literary critique services?

They are charging 150 pound to do a 'editors' review of my 80,000 word manuscript. They do everything online. I've only their website to go on, and I have no way of knowing who is a genuine literary service and who is a predator.
Any advice welcome.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Send your manuscripts to genuine publishers and take their advice on the chin. Unless you need your grammar or spelling corrected why would you spend 150 pounds to have someone read through your work?

In the end, no matter what these people say it's not going to sell your book to a publishing house. Save your money and research publishers instead, appropriately target which publishers to send your work to and get going.

Believe in yourself and your work and don't pay other people to tell you how to change it, you never know what magic and indivdual touches you might lose in the process.
