Which one is easier to play? An electric guitar or acoustic?

Question:

Which one is easier to play? An electric guitar or acoustic?

I want to play the solo part of do you believe in magic, so can a guitar expert tell me which one will sound better with the song as well? I've been trying to learn acoustic but it is INSANELY hard!
Also, what is the price they should normally be around?
i don't want to get ripped off =]

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: OK...lets see. Do you believe in magic would sound nice on acoustic if you were playing alone. On electric it would also sound nice...just a different kind of distorted noise. Electric is kind of easier to play...but the song would sound best in acoustic. Most acoustic guitars are around $150.
