My grandaughter is 12 years old and she is a very fussy girl. She will read most things if she thinks they sound good. She is the person that judges a book by its cover, she never goes with the saying.

It's been made into several movie versions, each telling the story of lonely orphan, Mary and her adventures at her uncle's estate.
