Question:

Will you believe an actor when he/she speaks to you?

if an actor is speaking to you, will you believe what he says?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Is he speaking during a performance, casual regular conversation, or about acting?

For those situations:

During a performance: Depends how deeply in character they are, and then, what type of character it is. If they are a bad actor, no. If they are playing a "lying" character, then no.

Casual Conversation: Yes, I would. Why would they lie about something trivial and off topic? I'd expect them to be honest.

About Acting: I'm not sure. It would have to depend on the character of the person. You have to remember that people also will be thinking of you as their competition. However this shouldn't make them lie or be mean to you (even though it happens).

Hope this answers your question.
