Does anyone recall the name of this book? I read it years ago..a young adult book.?

Ok, from what I can remember, there is a girl who was adopted. Her adoptive mother's mother pretty much hates her (but really, she's the spitting image of the grandmother's sister). But somehow, the girl goes to spend the summer with her grandmother. I can't remember if she ever saw her before but she's pretty speechless when she meets her cause of the resemblence (odd since she was..adopted.). But the grandmother's grandson is also staying there, and he happens to be the spitting image of his grandfather.

Now the story was that the grandmother's sister and the grandfather were in love...Avril I think was her name...something odd like that. I thought of lace or antique when I heard it... But the sister was poisoned I think and she died and the grandfather married the other sister (she was always in love with him anyway).

But in the present day....the adopted girl and the grandson have some tension and they solve a mystery of some kind before their 'pasts' are revealed.

I think the grandson knew all along about their looks...yeah I think he did and HE was the one surprised by her looks...something like that.

But in the end, the two fall in love and stuff...typical teenage romantic suspense. I remember there was another book in the same 'series' by the same author or something dealing with three sisters or something...I can't remember.

Anyone have any idea what book this was? Thanks!

no it wasn't a VC Andrews book...it was kind of thin...green cover. It's been at least like...6 years since I've read it so I doubt the library still has it.
