What do you think about my novel?

When a discovery is made in 2010 the humans find out that there is more potential in us then we think. Ordinary people discover extraordinary abilities however when Mike finds out about a future event they must work together from all four corners of the world in order to stop the Armageddon.

this may sound science fiction but its actually very much like the tv series heroes but I really wasnt happy with how they ended it so Im making my own kind of story similar concept but different events and characters/ powers. tell me if you'd be interested or not and what I can do to make it better?
