Chained to the floor,
Head hidden withn her pale arms,
A cascade of golden hair
Hides her face from view.
Blood stained wings rest next to her side,
And an iron chain holds her captive
In this dark place.
She's fallen from the sky,
An angel sent to die.
There's nothing left for her in the world,
No place for her to fly.
A fallen angel
Will never rise again.
