To be a pharaoh?

The pharaoh's of egypt spent there entire life preparing for death. would you do this if you thought it was your eternal duty. And what sort of life would it be?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I expect they enjoyed themselves more because they knew that their time would be up soon. Being aware of death isn't a bad thing if it makes you happy to be alive. People nowadays would be happier if they thought like that.
