Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: variety of reasons, sometimes we just dont bother wanting to question, learn, analyze, so we grab onto something, and hold to it, other times we might have fear or insecurity , so its important to hold tight to what gives us comfort,,, and other times, its not ignorance, but we have slowly come to our opinions and beliefs, we have questioned and analyzed, and we feel strongly that this is true for us, no matter how ignorant others view us
