On adobe photo shop how do i get rid of that grainy look of the letters after i add a gradient to them?

im making a layout.

Always start off in High resolution, 300 dpi and the size of what you want to print.

When you save it, save it as a tiff, not jpg.

For lettering and print though, it is best to use either indesign or illustrator.

For web, basically do the same, start off high, then resample low down to 72 dpi and save this time as jpg medium setting.
