I will always choose the best answer, it's my question and a best answer can differ from my own view if it's well reasoned. Also, all forums attract a greater proportion of *bunny boilers* than are in the general population, i ain't going to let that be a factor.

GREAT answer Wonderwill the speculation and analysis of Historians is meritorious when evidence is inconclusive tho. I think they're equally useful sciences, real knowledge of both creates the picture.

Excellent answers once again.

Almost fell off my chair laughing Mamoudou, did notice my dodgy spelling of practicioner but i'm an ENTP, whadoyou expect?? We're so busy looking for the grail, details are just a PitA!!! Haven't had any *whoops apocalypse* moments yet regarding artifacts, *hope* i never will. =) Did interpret your answer, *par excellence* Mister!!! =)

History and Archaeology are REAL sciences Cabal, tests, evaluation and proven results are required for both. Room for speculation in both tho, so long as speculation is regarded as such.

xxxx's Brain T, archaeology was my first degree, i studied history to masters level, not saying what particular discipline at Masters or what i'm studying at Phd level. TRUE historians are forensic too in their desire to know the truth about our past tho, it's impossible to generalise. =)

OOOPS!!! Need to wake up my forensic skills, the history and science ref applied to Bobby. That's a really good answer Mister!! =)

Great answer Cabal, that does seem to be the popular view. I'm a vegetarian, not a scavenger tho and analysis can be accurate prior to full evidence.=) I think it would be good if we recognised we're both seekers of the truth in the same field???

Lol, you're so cool Grumpyinthemorning, i'd love to be grumpyinthemorning with you too, just don't tell your Missus!!! =) Another great answer mate!!! =)

I'm going to let my revolutionary child out to play and leave this question open for a couple of days.

* Revolutionary for me. The evidence is supplied by my previous questions.=)*
