A time for most to sit and rest,
Childre run off on a quest.
As the sun dips for the night,
People watch, neighbors fight.

Just another end of day,
In the suburbs , where I stay.
No one heard the child scream,
Or saw the man I saw in my dream.

He snatched him up just like a cat,
In the car, the boy cried and sat.
Took just a minute, then he's gone,
In this game he was just a pawn.

A few days later , he was found,
beaten, totrured, limbs were bound.
In no time they had the man,
Arrested, booked, thrown in the can.

While running on him a background check,
His record long, the last one killed, broken neck.
When he showed up for his day in court,
The last sound heard, the guns report.

This is a rewrite and I will most likely rewrite it one more time, just for the record, a guns report is correct. a report is a correct term for the sound the gun makes.
