thanks marshall for helping me but its not working. i have used tahoma and arial font and followed your directions by holding down alt and 3 and relaeasing alt but all im getting is 333333333. Can someone figure this out?

You need to Hold down Alt and hit 3 on the number pad NOT using the numbers above the letters.

Alt 1= ☺
Alt 2 = ☻
Alt 3 = ♥
Alt 4= ♦
Alt 5 =♣
Alt 6= ♠
Alt 7= •
Alt 8= ◘
Alt 9= ??
Alt 10 = ◙

Etc.
