I play the flute and iam about too play the oboe and i was wondering is the oboe hard to play????

played flute for 4 years and about to play the oboe

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: i played both the flute and oboe.... i did find flute to be a little easier than the oboe but not by extreme standards. the reed takes some getting used to but essentially a lot of the octave notes are them same so you will be used to some of the fingering
