Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Almost any graphics programs -- though PhotoShop would be much easier -- will allow you to:

(1) convert an image to grayscale or black-and-white;

(2) then 'Copy' and 'Paste' multiple images; and,

(3) then leave one in grayscale or black-and-white and adjust the three images -- one to red, one to green, and one to blue. Look under 'adjust color' or similar command. (To get red for example, raise the red to maximum and lower the green and blue to minimum.)
