Question:

Why Is Everyone So Negative About Anything?

Doesn't it seem that no one's really happy nowadays? I mean, can anyone come up with a good answer? See, I just started slipping into negativity.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Being cynical is a negative form of idealism, it is a coping mechanism, it helps us to prevent ourselves from being disappointed. If we always find the bad in everything, then we will less often be disappointed.

I would say that not all people are this way but those of us who are are just protecting ourselves sub-consciously.
