Anyone Else a Fan of Salman Rushdie? WHich is your favorite novel and Character, and Tell me why?

I am very Fond of the Moor from Rushdie's "The Moors Last Sigh"

But, I am also fond of Saleem Sinai in Midnight's Children and Haroun from Haroun and the Sea of Stories.
