Question:

Do you think we are born with a deffination of right and wrong or is that socialy induced?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Morality is not a genetic trait and I defy anyone to name the genes involved in such a process. Yet, people will argue this.

From infancy, we are bombarded with various messages and consequences of what is right and what is wrong. The study of feral children is an example of how the "born that way" argument is false.

Any studies of feral children have required the socialization of those children -- which includes teaching "right" and "wrong".

However, due to confirmation bias, most people are unwilling to look at evidence that disputes their own beliefs.
