Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Before you take your books anywhere, check to see if you have any first editions - those might be worth something.

You might want to go through them on Amazon.com. You can use the Sell Your Stuff icon (I think that's what it says) and type in the ISBN to see what's already out there for sale and if the going price is worth listing. If you list on Amazon and are not a pro merchant, there's a 15% commission and a 99 cent fee for each book you sell (but no fees up front).

You could also search on eBay to see if anyone is selling a Stephen King "lot" of books, and if they're going for good prices, list there.

If you take them to a used bookstore, you may be able to get store credit or some money, but it probably won't be a lot if they're mostly mass market paperbacks.

Good luck!
