does anyone knows how to blow a chinese flute?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: if it is xun (the egg shaped) it has a blowing hole on top and generally eight smaller finger holes.

if it is dizi (the transverse flute) it is blown like an ordinary flute

if it is xiao, the blowing hole is faced away from the player, against the lower lip, when the instrument is played

gudi is like xiao when you play it
