How does the book New Moon end?

I know some people are all strict about not telling the ending but I won't be able to read the book until like August and I've already read the first chapter and all I want to know is if Bella becomes a vampire!

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: she does not become a vampire, but she and carlisle are planning it. She went to the cullen's house and took a vote for how many people wanted her to be part of her familiy. everyone except edward and rosalie (who is starting to be nice to her ever since bella saved edwards life) Carlisle said he'd change her after she graduates.
