I am not sure what it means bu Steinbeck Country. I have looked and looked and looked. But could somebody just write a 5 minute paragraph summerazation of what it is.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: John Steinbeck was born in Salinas, CA. He lived there and most of his books were based there. He drew his inspiration from that very area. This is why it is known as John Steinbeck country. Today, the National Steinbeck Center honors the author and his works.
