A well known comic book artist died recently. Does anyone know who it was?

I have many comic books to sell and I don't want to get screwed by a commercial comic book buyer. I've been told if an artist dies...his works are worth much more money. Can't remember if this guy that died was with Marvel or Dell.

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: I know Joe Edwards died recently (Thursday, February 8, 2007), He worked for: both Dell and Marvel, he is most famous forSuper Duck and Captain Sprocket, and Archie Comics. But i would reccomend not selling the comic books for a while, unless you are in a squeeze for money, because the longer he is dead is equivalent to the money you get.
