Is havana red really the first book in the series?

I want to buy the book "Havana Red" but in some web pages it says that this one is not the first one in the series that there are some predecesors that help you underst better the story is this true because I have been looking and I saw that the first one is havana red the second one is havana black and the third one is havana blue..... is there really a predecesor or is it just lies
