ok i need to no about paul mcenna....what he has studied in and do his techniques work. is he a psycholigist?

Best Answer - Chosen by Asker: Paul McKenna is a hypnotist. He began hypnosis as a way of entertaining people, and then went on to treat people with hypnotherapy as his fame grew. He claims to help people with weight problems, smoking, phobias, etc.

He continued to study his subject and even studied for two years for a 70,000 word thesis, but the university was suspect.

I've seen him on television; his entertainment shows were just that: entertaining. More recently he's tried to help people with their phobias, again on television, and it seems to work.
